I haven’t PVP’d ever up until this event. I wanted to give this a try to see how it is. I jumped into EOS and had an amazing time. I died quite a bit but I had a lot of fun. I would highly recommend it. I also tried AB on the first day. It was a bigger map, so it became more aboot ganging up on people than it was just a mad rush for towers and flags like EOS was. Not as fun. I grabbed a friend and tried WG. Aside from them complaining a lot, I liked it. It seemed like we were getting beaten, then we won. Not as chaotic as I had thought it would be but not as huge a map as I was worried aboot.
Then we tried AV.
Please, for the people like me who don’t PVP often and don’t really want to, allow us to do 3 out of 4 for the acheivement. Even today with 4 or so days left in the acheivement, at least 30 of the 40 had the orphans out. As a mage, I was not the fastest and if I did just ride past everyone and try to grab one of the end towers, my cloth armour did not stand up to the assault.
In guild/raid chat, they have a lot of pissed off people who don’t like people like me who don’t really know what we’re doing coming in and running amock. They’d rather have it back to normal.
Even if you made it 4 out of 5 and threw in a Strands of the Ancients, it would make it a little more reasonable. Or at least a lot less frustrating.
And if you’re still claiming that the acheivements don’t actually mean anything, then you can just add the violet proto drake directly to my account, okay ? Thanks.
((Mind you, I’m only expecting the usual ‘QQ’ responses as per on par with the other threads along this line. I don’t actually expect a response from Blizzard as I’m shoore they can’t hear me from on top of their huge mountain of money.))

I did eventually do the battlegrounds achievement even if I need a spell checker to learn how to spell achievement. You basically have to bring your orphan in to the BG and ignore trying to win or help your team in any way and go straight for the achievement. It kinda screws everyone else over. Probably not the best idea for an in game achievement cuz it really doesn’t do much but make the non-pvpers mad that they are need this and the pvpers get stuck with a bunch of ass hats that mess up their game. I myself, as an asshat, feel sorry for whoever’s team I was on for the last week. I’ve still got to go in and help a friend or two with the achievement, so the ass hattery is far from over.
