Death of a Fire Mage

Today I was feeling adventurous, so I grabbed the daily dungeons and jumped on LFG. I signed up for reg TOC because there’s still phat loots in there for me and ended up in a group for H TOC. I quickly repaired, grabbed my reagents and got the heck in there.

My experiences with groups for TOC have been both good and bad. My experiences with LFG and ending up in a Heroic have been somewhat amazing. As of today, I have a H:TOC under my belt and a H:COS because the group I was with was so incredibly good. Nothing to do with my skill whatsoever. Same thing happened in Strathholme. I didn’t really need to be there and they could have easily 4 manned it, it’s just that they wanted to fill the space. I suppose in the Trial I did help a bit with the jousting and I was able to reach my new best DPS rate, so that was all fine and dandy. Still though, it was nice to not be the reason we failed in any way. Except for the Warlock. I’m pretty sure that Focus Magic/Scorch gave her too much DPS which is why she folded up like a tv dinner tray that once.

In other news, because I tried to respec myself to make myself more useful in raids, I’ve become less useful in PVP. I miss my stun. I have a couple other spells like Blast Wave that I just couldn’t lose no matter how little I’ll actually use them outside of soloing.

Also, the only reason I’m playing right now is because I finished Batman. Amazing game. Do yourself a favour and give it a once through. Even on easy. If you like Batman and you like a good story, then that’s all you’ll need.
