Death of a Fire Mage

So, I’m happy that WSG is now 20 mins. I like that change. It also makes getting 3 flags in one match quite the achievement. I was in one where the priest of the group did just that.

3-0, baby.

The best part was, I found a rival (as I’m want to do sometimes) which was a frost mage. We seemed to target each other all the time for no reason so many fun deaths were shared. My favourite was: I was OOM and low on health and I figured I’d just die to get a fresh start, so I was spamming my scorch to try to get one final shot in on her. OH, and my Frost Ward was up.

Frost Ward. Nothing special, right? Just another way to try to prepare for death knights and pvp mages, yes?

OR, if you have a mixed up spec like I do (or it might be standard, I don’t really know) then you get the Molten Shields talent which boosts Fire and Frost Ward’s ability to reflect spells by 30%.

You see what I’m getting at. She killed herself on my spell reflect. It was BEAUTIFUL. I literally laughed out loud.

2. If the character info doesn’t show up on the side, something mucked up with the armory. I just reconfigured the cache, so it might not crap out as often. We’ll see, though.

This is an important article. It answers many questions like I had, like: Why can’t I be a successful fire mage in pvp?

Because you’re not supposed to be a pvp fire mage. Simple enough?

I’m hoping that they’re going to expand specs to a third, fourth and beyond just for people who want to try out some new areas/spells/combos of the game and not lose their old arrangement. Or better yet, if they could ’save’ their spec in game and then when respec’ing, have it as a preload. I think that might have been a better idea then double spec’ing… if you didn’t have the glyphs to worry about.

Meh, it doesn’t matter. I’m a LOREMASTER. THAT’s what matters.
